Reprise names Dimitri Maex as global CEO
IPG Mediabrands’ digital marketing agency Reprise has elevated Dimitri Maex to global chief executive. Maex only joined the agency in June, as global chief operating officer. He replaces Tim Ringel, who left the agency in September after three years to become the global chief executive of creative agency Spring Studios. In his new role, Maex will assume full responsibility for the company’s financial performance, as well as continuously improving its capabilities inclusive of digital, search, social, mobile and e-commerce solutions. He is charged with accelerating the evolution of Reprise, after it merged with sister agencies Society (social media marketing) and Ansible (mobile marketing) last year. In doing so, Reprise now offers clients end-to-end capabilities from integrated performance marketing strategy, search, social and mobile media activation and content creation through to e-commerce and in-store conversion capabilities.
