Mediabrands boss Philippe Krakowsky promoted to IPG COO

IPG records 8.9% growth in total revenue

In the first quarter of 2019, IPG reported 6.4% organic net revenue growth to $2 billion. The US saw a net organic increase of 5.7%, while international growth was up 7.7%. IPG acquires Acxiom for US$2.3 billion

Interpublic Group today announced its takeover of global data marketing firm Acxiom Marketing Solutions for US$2.3 billion. The acquisition brings Acxiom’s data capabilities into IPG’s creative, marketing and media portfolio. Acxiom has 2,100 employees worldwide, including 1,600 data specialists that handle a wide range of services including data management, strategy, analytics and its audience creation
